Standoff Model Installation
Step 1:
Choose the location and the lower centerline of the Elegant address sign location and attach the provided installation template on the selected location with Duct Tape.
Step 2:
Using the provided 3/16" drill
bit, Drill in the back wall on the marked locations by about 1-1/4" depth.
Note 1: For more accurate hole positions, using a pin marker
before drilling may be required
Note 2: For Natural Stone and hard brick claddings, hammer
drill may be required
Step 3:
After drilling all holes, while the
template is still attached, test each piece on dedicated location and make sure
the back studs are aligned with the drilled holes and if not re-drill the holes
until the studs are sliding in easily.
Step 4:
Remove the template and clean the drilled
holes from debris and dusts using a blower or you may water spray inside holes
and dry them up.
Step 5:
Using
the provided sealing glue, fill the holes set for each separated piece of sign
at a time and install each piece by sliding the back studs into the glue filled
holes in proper location and push them in smoothly until it reaches to the spacer
sleeves. Repeat this step for other pieces.
Step 6:
Except for textured black finishing,
there is a protective plastic sticker on the sign surface which should be
removed at this step.
